- Place the jack on a level surface and open the drain valve. The correct oil level is at the bottom of the
thread inside the oil chamber when the lifting arm is in the fully lowered position. In the absence of oil,
remove the vent cap located under the cap. Fill the oil to the correct level, fit and tighten the plug.
- Close the drain valve and raise the lifting arm to its full upper position. Then, open the drain valve
and on the support force to lower the lift as quickly as possible.
- Repeat this operation three or four times. This procedure thoroughly rinses the valves and ensures
complete distribution of the oil. In most cases, restore this to work. Firmly close the drain valve and
test the lift under load.
b) There may be air in the lift system. Then open the drain valve and make a handle of six full
movements. Then close the drain valve and try again the jack.
c) The pump sealing ring may be worn. This situation can only occur after many months of use. A new
sealing ring or new piston can be purchased and installed without problems.
D) The drain valve may remain open under the influence of dirt on the seal. Rinse the valve and
gasket, lifting and lowering the levers several times with the valve open. If necessary, you can take a
photo of the valve to clean the valve itself and the valve seat.
2. If the lift is lowered under load:
a) The bleed valve can be held in the ball socket. In the case of a dirty drain valve or ball socket, the
lift can quickly lower, causing the handle to move up and down quickly.
This is due to the rapid oil flow back into the pump chamber through the open ball socket.
In this case, it is recommended to carry out the procedure 1-a before commencing the partial
dismantling of the hydraulic unit.
The bleed valve is located at the bottom of the spindle cylinder. In addition, there is also a washer with
a screen. Carefully remove it and replace it with a new one if damaged.
Then, remove the drain valve ball and thoroughly clean the valve seat. Wipe the ball and put it in
place. Use a 1/4 "and 3" gauge and a small hammer. In this way, put the ball back in the slot. Install
the washer with the sieve, firmly tighten the stem cylinder.
Replace the washers at the top and bottom of the oil chamber, install the stem assembly and screw
the top of the unit.
b) The gasket of the stem may be worn. This may occur in case of heavily operated lifts. Follow the
above 2-a procedure to gain access to the stem assembly. Remove the worn gasket by pulling it out or
cutting a small knife. Be careful not to damage the new seal during installation.
c) Dirt in the drain valve reduces the lift under load. Remove the drain valve, clean its seat and
reinstall the valve.
3. If the lift does not lower completely after lifting:
a) The return spring of the lifting arm may be cracked or detached. Replace the return spring.
b) Lubrication is probably required. Clean and lubricate all moving parts in the lifting arm mechanism.
c) The hydraulic unit may contain too much oil and the vent valves may be closed. Open the vent plug.
4. Lift does not lift full 2,5 ton load:
a) The sealing ring of the pump piston may be worn. See instructions III 1-c.
b) There may be air in the unit. See instructions III 1-b.
c) The relief valve is factory-set to lift a load of 2 tons and its setting should not be changed. Check the
lifting harness, which may cause a load loss.
