Accessing Anti-Executable
Overview
Anti-Executable Enterprise can be accessed through Faronics Core Console or directly from the
workstation where it is deployed.
The account used by Faronics Core Console to communicate with a workstation must be a
Windows administrator account that is valid on that workstation. Communication from Faronics
Core Console to the workstation occurs under the context of that account. This account becomes
the first Anti-Executable Administrator following installation from Faronics Core Console.
Additional Anti-Executable Administrators allowed to access Faronics Core Console must be
added to the workstation’s Anti-Executable users list to manage one or more workstations.
If the account used to communicate with a workstation through Faronics Core
Console is changed, ensure the new account has Anti-Executable Administrator or
Trusted User rights on the workstation.
