Assembly - Backsaver Auger 12112 / 12122

Hopper Assembly And Installation

Figure 92

Align the flex extension (rubber flap) (Item 1) holes with
the holes in the hopper sides. Install one 1/4” x 3/4”
carriage bolt (Item 2)

[Figure 92]

through flex extension

and hopper side. Install one 1/4” lock washer and 1/4” nut
on the carriage bolt.

NOTE: Slot(s) (Item 3) [Figure 92] in the flex

extension (rubber flap) can be enlarged for
installation (if required).

Continue installing 1/4” carriage bolts, 1/4” lock washers
and 1/4” nuts around the bottom of the flex extension
(rubber flap) (Item 1)

Tighten all carriage bolts and lock nuts.

Install two straps (Item 1) around the hopper (Item 2)

[Figure 94]

Connect the straps to an approved lifting device.

Raise the hopper and move to the assembly area.

Place support stands (Item 3)

under the

hopper.

Lower the hopper onto the support stands.
