Unpacking the Card Printer 

Step 

Procedure 

1 

Remove the handles for the side of the box to release the Cover. 

2 

Remove the Cover and set it aside (upturned) in order to hold its parts. 

3 

a.  Remove the Printer from the box. 

b.  Place the foam back inside the box cover. 

4 

Set the Printer on the bench and remove the plastic bag wrap. 

5 

Remove the shipping tape from the Output Hopper, the Cover, and the 
Communication Ports.  (Note:  Do not discard the tape since it can be used 
again during repackaging.) 

6 

a.  Open the print Cover. 

b.  Remove the blue-colored Quality Assurance Certificate and the white-colored 

Cleaning Cartridge (D850254) Instruction sheet.
