The refrigerating gas contained in the circuit of
this appliance is isobutane (R600a); it causes a
low level of pollution but is inflammable. Please
contact your local disposal department for advice
on the correct method of disposal.
Install the refrigerator or freezer in a cool place
away from direct sunlight, keeping it away from
any stove, radiator, dishwasher or any appliance
emitting hot air.
Do not set the refrigerator or the freezer to
temperatures lower than those recommended.
Set the temperature to an appropriate range,
for example, set the thermostat to the middle
position for a temperature of 4°C in the
refrigerator and -18°C in the freezer.
Leave cooked dishes to cool before placing
them in the refrigerator or freezer. This will
avoid increasing the internal temperature of the
refrigerator. Make sure that your refrigerator is
always full but not too full in order to reduce
«cold» air loss. Do not overfill the refrigerator
or the freezer. To the extent possible, allow
approximately 20% of free space for the
movement of air.
To prevent the cold air from evacuating, limit
the number of times the door is opened. When
you return with your shopping, put the food to
be kept in the refrigerator aside before opening
the door. Only open the door to put away or take
out food. Ensure that the door seal is clean and
in good condition. A sheet of paper must be able
to be held between the refrigerator and the door
once it is closed. Defrost the freezer regularly
or when the ice is more than 5 mm thick. The
accumulation of ice on the internal walls greatly
increases energy consumption.
The arrangement of the drawers, baskets and
shelves indicated in the descriptive diagram
for the product is optimised to save energy
effectively. Modifying it may affect consumption.
