By removing weight from the hanger it is possible to verify the
CALIBRATED VALUE as shown below. If the values are correct,
calibration is complete. If the values are incorrect, repeat steps making
adjustments to potentiometer mechanism as required. Refer to Table 5-1 for
weight to Bc conversions for pot-mech.
By applying additional weights between 0 and 400g and plotting
consistency display as a function of applied weight, the linearity
of the potentiometer mechanism may be assessed.
