1. Attach the wall plate to the desired location on the wall (consider the length of the power
cord required, head tilt, activation of the oscillating mode, relative to the location of the
electrical outlet, the cable should never be tense).
2. Slide the main post into mounting bracket. Secure it with the 2 fixing bolts provided. Make
sure the shorter bolt is fixing on the outer surface of the pole and longer bolt is passing into
the pole and fixing on the inner surface of the pole.
3. If connector is attached to main post, move on to the next step. If detached, unscrew the
connector screws in the connector and fit it onto the end of the main post. Tighten the
connector screws until they are secured. Do not over tighten the screws - avoid using power
tools to prevent over tightening.
4. Slightly loosen the stopper screw attached to the connector and slide the motor housing
into the connector. Adjust the desired tilt angle and fix the motor housing to connector using
the keyed tilt adjustment bolt, washer and nut ; it is recommended to use a torque wrench to
fasten the fixing bolt securely. Tighten the stopper screw.
5. Place the rear grill on the motor (so that the screw on the edge of the grill serving to
secure the assembly of the two grills is at the bottom) and fix it with the 4 screws of the motor
(remove them before if needed).
6. Loosen the blade locking screw. Slide the blade onto the motor shaft. Align the mounting
hole on the blade over the flat slot provided on the motor shaft ; secure the assembly with the
screw. Ensure the screw is tight for maximum safety. Check that the blade rotates well by
turning it manually.
7. Place the front grill on the back grill by aligning the hole of the back grill with the one on
the front grill (security screw) and close all clips. Then tighten the screw to secure the
assembly of the 2 grills.
