Periphal Connections/Preamp
Mains
This cable is used to connect the Tube 5 to a grounded
power outlet. Please make sure that the power cord
works correctly and has a shielded plug.
Signal In Jack
On the very left side fo the front panel you will fi nd a
6,35mm mono style input jack for the connection of
your electric guitar.
High/Low
This switch lets you choose between two input im-
pedances of the preamp. When using a guitar with
low output pickups (singlecoils), set the switch to the
“High” setting. A guitar with humbucking pickups
shall be used in the “Low” mode. If you would like to
kick the preamp into an early overdrive, you can also
use a guitar with humbucking pickups in the “High”
mode.

This knob controls the center frequency of the sig-
nal. While turning the knob clockwise, the sound will
become brighter and features more brilliance and
otherwise.
Volume
This knob controls the overall volume of the amplifi er.
Due to the fact that the Tube 5 doesn’t feature a mas-
ter volume, the amount of gain will also increase.

playing.
