BASIC OPERATION
Splitting the Keyboard (Split Mode)
When the Split mode is active, the keyboard
will be divided into two separate areas, which
means you can play two different voices with
your left and right hands. Furthermore, by
selecting the same voice on two areas, two
players
can play the instrument
simultaneously with the same voice. This is
helpful for teaching, in which one person
plays a model performance and the other
person watches and practices while sitting at
the first person's side.
1 Select the desired Tone which will be
designated as Voice 1.
2 Press and hold the [Function] button, then
press the [A6] key on the keyboard to turn on
the Split mode.
3 Select the desired Tone which will be
design-nated as Voice 2. The number
("SVOI000" - "SVOl237") and name of the
Voice 2 will be shown on the display.
4 Play the keyboard.
5 Press and hold the [Function] button, then press
the [A6] key again to turn off the Split mode.
The tone of the instrument will change to Voice 1 when the
Split mode is turned off.
Playing the Drum Kit Voices
The digital piano features a 62-key
percussion keyboard, allowing you to play
the drum kit voices.
1 Press and hold the [Function] button, then
press the [B6] key again to turn off the Split
mode.
2 Play the keyboard in the range of [D1]-[D#6
Using the Metronome
The instrument features a built-in Metronome
with 6 types of beats, which provides a
steady beat, allowing you to practice the
instrument at a consistent tempo.
The time signature (beat) and tempo of the metronome can all
be freely adjusted.
Turning the Metronome On/Off
1 Press the [Metronome] button to turn on
the built-in Metronome. The LED indicator for
the Metronome button will turn on when the
Metronome is active.
2 Press the [Metronome] button again to turn
off the Metronome.
3 Press the [Metronome] button again to exit
the Time Signature status.
Adjusting the Tempo
1 Turn on the Metronome.
2 Press and hold the [Function] button, then
press one of the [D2] - [G2] keys on the
keyboard to adjust the Tempo of the
Metronome.
