Storage Instruction for installed batteries:
Storage temperature is as below:
First month: -10 ~ +40°C
First 3 months: 0 ~ +35°C
After 3 months: 0 ~ +20°C
If an installed battery is not going to be used for some time, disconnect
the battery from the vehicle if possible. If not possible, please check the
battery voltage every 2~3 weeks to see if the battery voltage drops. If the
battery voltage drops near to 20% SOC, recharge the battery up to 80%
SOC and further store to avoid the battery being over-discharged, as the
loads on the vehicle might have current draw from the battery, also the
battery itself has self current consumption too. If stored too long without
any charge, the battery might become over-discharged, causing low
voltages such as 0 V or a dead battery. If the battery is over discharged
too long a time, please stop using the battery.
Precautions:
Do

expose the battery to temperatures over 60°C
Do
NOT
short-circuit the battery
Do
NOT
attach a charger to the wrong terminals
Do
NOT
touch the terminals of the battery with metal objects such as
jewellery, keys, coins, hairpins, pencils etc.
Do
NOT
excessively shock or vibrate the battery.
Do
NOT
disassemble or deform the battery.
Do
NOT
immerse in water.
Do
NOT
use the battery with different makes, types, or models of
batteries.
