Heater
Operation
Instructions:
1.
Ensure
the
gas
valve
is
in
the
“OFF”
position.
2.
Carefully
attach
the
heater
to
a
16.4
disposable
propane
cylinder.
3.
Attach
the
propane
cylinder
into
the
plastic
lantern
base.
Ensure
the
safety
legs
are
fully
extended.
4.
Open
the
temperature/fuel
valve
approximately
¾
of
a
turn.
5.
Slowly
press
the
red
igniter
button
until
it
clicks.
6.
Continue
to
press
the
igniter
button
until
burner
lights.
7.
Hold
down
the
red
igniter
button
for
approximately
30
seconds
after
the
burner
ignites,
so
the
thermocouple
can
heat
sufficiently.
8.
Adjust
the
heater
to
desired
output.
Do
not
touch
the
metal
reflector
or
safety
grid
while
the
heater
is
lit.
Keep
away
from
children,
pets,
and
flammable
materials.
9.
Allow
at
least
15
minutes
for
propane
heater
to
cool
before
removing
propane
cylinder.
Do
not
store
heater
with
propane
cylinder
attached.
10.
Store
upright
in
a
dry
clean
area
to
maintain
product.
Gently
wipe
heater
with
a
clean
cloth
before
storing.

in
enclosed
areas.
Always
allow
sufficient
ventilation.
3.
Do
not
expose
cylinder
to
excessive
heat
of
temperatures
over
120°F
.
4.
Inspect
the
heater
and
propane
tank
for
damage
or
dirt
before
connecting.
Do
not
operate
if
damage
is
found.
5.
Attach
and
detach
propane
cylinder
to
heater
only
when
it
is
cooled
and
away
from
open
flame
or
pilot
light.
6.
Tightly
secure
all
connections
to
propane
cylinder
before
usage.
7.
Operate
on
a
flat
level
surface,
so
the
heater
is
safe
from
accidental
tipping.
8.
Use
only
with
14.7
or
16.4
oz.
propane
cylinders
marked
per
USDOT
‐
39
or
TC
CAN/CSA
B339
standards.
9.
Use
only
with
16
PSI
regulator
included
with
heater.
Do
not
alter
or
tamper.
10.
Keep
away
from
children
and
open
flames.
11.
Keep
combustible
material
at
least
24”
away
from
heater
while
in
use.
12.
Discontinue
use
if
temperature
falls
below
‐
10
°
F.
13.
Discontinue
use
when
propane
cylinder
is
empty.
14.
Discontinue
use
if
flame
extinguishes
repeatedly.
15.
Store
upright
in
a
cool
well
ventilated
area.
