RE-HANDING INSTRUCTIONS FOR L TRIM
(816 TRIM CANNOT BE RE-HANDED)
RHR to LHR conversion shown
LHR to RHR conversion opposite
1. Remove two screws.
2. Remove back plate.
3. Remove set screw, then remove cam.
4. Rotate lever to correct position for
handing required.
5. Re-install cam in reversed
position. “R” on cam faces out for RHR;
“L” on cam faces out for LHR.
6. Push cam in until it stops, then re- install
set screw.
7. Re-install back plate (tab fits into slot).
8. Re-install two screws.
