Introduction
Thank you for purchasing Fakir A160
Vacuum Cleaner, which has been designed
and manufactured to give you many years
of trouble-free service.
You may already be familiar with using a
similar product, but do please take time to
read these instructions - they have been
written to ensure you get the very best from
your purchase.
Safety is important
For yours and others safety please read
the instructions before using the appliance.
Please keep this instruction in a safe place
for the further use.
Important Safeguards
When use electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
• Do not leave vacuum cleaner when plugged
in. Unplug from outlet when no use and
before servicing.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not
use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
•
Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close
attention is necessary when used by near
children.
•
Use only as described in this manual. Use
o n l y m a n u f a c t u r e s r e c o m m e n d
attachments.
•
Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If
vacuum cleaner is not working as it should,
has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors,
or dropped into water, enter it to a service
center.
•
Do not pull or carry on cord, use cord as
a handle, close door on cord, or pull cord
around sharp edges or corners. Do not run
vacuum cleaner over cord. Keep cord away
from heated surfaces.
•
Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To
unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with
wet hands.
•
Do not put any object into openings. Do
not use with any opening blocked. Keep
free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may
reduce airflow.
•
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all
parts of body away from openings and
moving parts.
•
Turn all controls off before unplugging.
•
Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
•
Do not use to pick up flammable or
combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or
use in areas where they may be present.
•
Hold plug when rewinding onto cord reel.
Do not allow plug to whip when rewinding.
•
Unplug before connecting the hose.
•
Do not pick up anything that is burning or
smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or
hot ashes.
•
Do not use without dust bag and/or filter in
place.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by a qualified Fakir Service in
order to avoid a hazard.
NOTE: Please read all instructions and
safety guards carefully.

Precautionary Measures
If the opening that sucks in the air, the
suction pipe or the telescopic wand stick
on pipe is blocked, you should switch off
the vacuum cleaner at once. First clear the
blocked substance before you attempt to
s t a r t t h e v a c u u m c l e a n e r a g a i n .
