Before using this appliance for the first time,
read this instructions manual carefully and
retain, for future reference. Only by doing
this, you can obtain the best results from
your iron and ensure safe use.
• Before using the appliance, check if the
voltage (V) on the appliance’s data
plate, at the base of the water tank,
corresponds to the local power supply.
• In the event of incompatibility, between
the main socket and the appliance’s
plug, have the socket replaced by an
appropriate one, by contacting
professionally qualified staff.
• The electrical safety of this appliance,
is guaranteed only if it is efficiently
connected to earth, as prescribed by
the current electrical safety standards.
The manufacturer can not be held
responsible for any damage which
results from the fact that this connection
was not done correctly. In case of
doubt, contact professionally qualified
staff.
• After removing the packaging, check if
the appliance is in full working order. In
case of doubt, contact your nearest
authorised Service Centre.
• The packaging materials (plastic bags,
polystyrene foam etc.) must not be left
within the reach of children, as they
could be dangerous.
• We do not recommend the use of
adapters, multiple plugs and /or
extension leads. If it is absolutely
necessary that you use them, use only
simple and multiple adapters and
extensions which meet current safety
standards, ensuring that the power
indicated on the adapter is not
exceeded.
• This appliance is intended only for
domestic use. Any other use is
considered inappropriate and
dangerous.
• The manufacturer cannot be held
responsible for any damage resulting
from improper, incorrect or inadequate
use or from repairs carried out by
unqualified staff.
IN PARTICULARLY:
• Do not touch the appliance with wet or
damp hands or feet.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water.
Never put the appliance under the tap,
in order to add water.
