Installation and setup:
After unpacking your PRO-SUB12A find a suitable location in your room to position the unit.
Finding the best location is subjective. The following diagrams can be used as a guide to get the
best performance for the PRO-SUB12A.
1. Connect the IN RCA jacks to the SUB LINE output from your receiver or pre-amplifier using a
good quality RCA cable.
2. Plug the AC power cord into the AC wall outlet.
3. Press the Power switch to the ON position.
4. Play music through your system and adjust the VOLUME control to the desired level.
5. Select the proper PHASE setting based on the following: Sub is in the front of the room
positioned close to the main left/right speakers = 0 degree Phase. Sub is positioned at the
back of the room facing the main left/right speakers = 180 degree phase.
6. Play music through your system and adjust the FREQ control to play the sub-woofer below
the rated frequency response of the main left/right speakers.
