Audio return selection switch
– Set the switch between ARC and Optical when using the
Audio Return feature. When the TV supports ARC, set the switch to right side to select TV
audio return. If the TV does not support ARC, set the switch to left side to select Optical
audio input to return audio from the RX balun to the TX balun.

TV and AVR supports ARC
When the ARC feature is used, the selection switch for audio return should be set to ARC on
the Transmitter and Receiver. The
TV’s audio will be sent to the AVR.

TV with ARC, AVR does not have ARC
When the ARC feature is used, select NON-ARC on the Transmitter. select ARC on the
Receiver. The
TV’s audio will be returned to the L/R Audio and Optical Out. Set the DIP switch
to Optical on the Receiver. The audio from the Optical In will be returned to L/R Audio and
Optical Out. On the Tx Transmitter
