Chapter 2 Hardware Installation

This chapter introduces the system connectors & jumper settings, and guides you to
apply them for field application.

Before Installation

Before you install the system, make sure you follow the following descriptions.

Before removing the cover, shut down the operation System and disconnect

the power cords.

Install or unplug any connector, CPU, PCI Card, Disk On Module and hard disk

be sure that the power cable is disconnected the system. If not, this may

damage the system.

Installing a heat sink is necessary for heat dissipation from your CPU. If heat sink

is not mounted, this may cause the CPU fail due to over-heating problem.

The ESD (Electricity Static Discharge) may be created from human body that
touches the board. It may do damage to the board circuit.
