The Chronomètre à Résonance features two specific balances with four long inertia weights for the setting of advance and delay. They have been set in our
engineering workshops to beat to a frequency of 21’600 v/h.
The two balances enter in sympathy thanks to the resonance effect and naturally begin to beat in opposition. The movements’ negative effects due to the
wearing of the watch are thus considerably reduced. The resonance point is obtained by an extremely precise adjustment of the parting between the right
and the left balance. The narrowing pinion is specifically meant for this purpose.
This particularly meticulous adjustment is exclusively made in our workshops and cannot, in any case, be modified by a third person.
