Aside
from
indica ng
the
speed
se ng
of
the
EZ
Lite
Cruiser,
the
Speed
Indicator
LEDs
(number
8
on
the
fi
gure
shown
on
the
previous
page)
acts
as
an
indicator
of
common
faults
in
the
controller
system.
When
these
LEDs
fl
ash
with
the
following
Display
as
indicated
below,
the
most
com
‐
mon
problems
and
their
respec ve
possible
solu ons
are
iden
fi
ed:

The
Ba ery
power
is
low.
You
must
recharge
or
it
is
me
to
replace
the
ba ery.
Joys ck
can’t
deliver
signals
to
the
control
module
(CPU)
Check
to
see
that
all
cable
connec ons
are
fi
rmly
a ached.
If
they
are,
this
would
indicate
a
problem
with
the
joys ck,
and
it
may
need
to
be
replaced
with
a
working
joys ck.
Or
simply,
the
Joys ck
wire
could
be
damaged.
Check
for
any
cuts
exposing
wires
of
the
Joys ck.
An
electronic
drive
locking
func on
is
engaged
to
pre
‐
vent
the
EZ
Lite
Cruiser
from
being
operated.
Also
acts
to
indicate
that
the
ba ery
is
being
charged.
Disconnect
any
3
‐
pin
Circular
Charger
plug
from
the
front
of
the
Joys ck.
If
it
is
discon
‐
nected,
this
could
indicate
a
problem
with
the
Joys ck’s
Charger
connector
I/O
port,
or
the
control
module
(CPU.)
Do
not
use
the
chair
if
a
charger
is
plugged
in
to
the
Joys ck,
it
is
not
possible
and
wouldn’t
be
safe.
Brushless
motors
fail
to
move.
Check
to
see
that
all
cable
connec ons
are
fi
rmly
a ached.
If
they
are,
this
would
indicate
an
open
or
short
circuit
somewhere
in
the
con
‐
troller
system.
Electromagne c
lock
on
rear
wheels
is
disengaged.
Push
the
electromagne c
levers
on
the
rear
wheels
back
towards
yourself
(when
standing
behind
the
EZ
Lite
Cruiser)
to
engage
the
elec
‐
tromagne c
lock.
