PAINTING SAFETY
Never flush the system under high pressure. Never spray solvent or other flushing material through the 1.
guns with the spray tips in place. An explosion or fire could result from static electricity build-up in the
presence of flammable vapors. Always remove the spray tips prior to flushing the system.
Never wipe off build-up around the spray tips until the pressure is fully relieved. When the need arises 2.
to work on the paint guns and/or the lines, always depressurize the entire system first. Always follow the
Pressure Relief Procedure for Paint System before checking, adjusting, or shutting down the unit.
Never use standard hardware to modify an airless or high pressure system. Use high pressure fittings only. 3.
Call the factory for the proper replacement parts and components. See the parts list in the back of this
manual.
The special high pressure hose supplied with airless or high pressure equipment is a standard component. 4.
This hose, like all high pressure hose, must never be kinked or bent in less than a four inch radius.
ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES
Whenever flushing the system or cleaning paint out of the lines, always catch the waste material and 1.
properly dispose of it, to prevent contamination of the environment.
