Battery

Battery charging guidelines:

WARNING! You must recharge the 24 volt battery with the recommended battery charger.

Do not use a non-authorized battery charger.

MANDATORY! Read the battery charging instructions in this manual before charging the battery.

PROHIBITED! Never use an extension cord to plug in your charger cord. Plug the charger cord
directly into a properly wired standard electrical outlet.

PROHIBITED! Removal of the grounding prong can create an electrical hazard. If necessary,
properly install an approved 3-pronged adapter to an electrical outlet having 2-pronged plug
access.

PROHIBITED! Do not allow unsupervised children to play near the battery charger while the
battery is charging.

PROHIBITED! Do not expose the battery charger to rain or other sources of moisture.

WARNING! Keep the battery and the battery charger away from sources of ignition such as

flames or sparks.

WARNING! If the battery is exposed to adverse or extreme weather conditions, then it must

be allowed to adjust to the difference in environmental conditions before being charged.

WARNING! Do not attempt to open the battery charger or battery. If the battery charger

does not appear to be working correctly, contact your authorized dealer for a replacement
battery charger.

Charge in a location where the temperature is between 50°F and 100°F.
