Configuration 
Software

The DTP2 R 212 can be easily configured using Extron Product Configuration Software 
(PCS). This section describes the software installation and communication (see the 

DTP2 R 212 PCS Help File

 for detailed control information). The topics covered in this 

section are:

Connecting to PCS

Device Menu

• 

Updating Firmware

PCS communicates with the switcher via the following ports:

• 

Rear panel LAN Ethernet port

 (see 

LAN Connector Wiring

 on page 13)

Front panel USB Configuration port

Software/Firmware Installation
