Accessing the HTML Pages
NOTES:
• If your Ethernet connection to the matrix switcher is
unstable, try turning off the proxy server in your Web
browser. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, click
Tools >
Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings
, uncheck the
Use a proxy server
... box, and then click
OK
.

pages, see the "HTML Operation" section in the
DTP CrossPoint 4K Series User Guide .

Start the Web browser program.
NOTE: For best results, Extron recommends the following
browsers and compatibility mode:
• Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 8.0 or newer, with
compatibility mode off
• Mozilla

• Google Chrome

, version 9 or newer
• Apple

2. Click in the
Address
field and enter the IP address.
3. Press the keyboard <
Enter
> key. The switcher checks whether
it is password-protected.
NOTE: The factory configured passwords for all accounts
on this device have been set to the device serial number.
In the event of a complete system reset, the passwords
convert to the default, which is no password.
If the switcher is not password-protected , the switcher
displays the HTML start-up page. The switcher is ready for
operation via HTML remote control.
If the switcher is password-protected
, the switcher displays
the Authentication Required dialog box (see figure 24).
