3. Place the next pass-through AAP onto the shelf such that the channel opening
is accessible and the opposite side is up against the AAP previously installed.
The rear of the new AAP now secures the channel opening of the previously
installed one. Loosely fasten the AAP with two supplied 4-40 captive washer
nuts.
4. Press cable(s)
into grommet(s)

4. Press the cable(s) into the desired opening.
5. Continue in the same manner until all pass-through AAPs are installed.
Installing Passive AAPs
The split or blank AAPs may be replaced with passive Extron AAPs shown in
figure 2-4. Passive AAPs allow direct cable connection using terminated cables.
Replace a set of split AAPs as follows:

It may be easier to cable the rear of the AAP(s) prior to installing them.
1. Mount the passive AAPs through the holes in the shelf bracket.
2. Secure the AAPs to the shelf brackets with the provided #4-40 captive washer
nuts. Do not tighten the nuts at this point.
