Using a 1 /8” bit, drill holes as marked, 1-1/2” deep into wall studs.
Align WMP to wall anchors and insert 2 1-3/4” lag screws and tighten
firmly using a phillips screwdriver.
4. Example - WMP Brick Wall Install:
4a. Referring to Fig.4, WMP should be level and flush to the wall
surface. In this case, two holes were drilled in the top mortar
joint, so two additional washers were needed behind each top
screw to flush WMP properly.
4b. To mount the EA500CSA on the wall, raise the mounting plate on
the speaker system back
above
the WMP, move the speaker
system back toward the wall. Once the WMP and the speaker
mounting plate are aligned, lower the speaker system slowly until
it stops. Slowly transfer the full weight of the speaker system to
the WMP by removing your hands. Speaker system should be
level and feel solidly mounted to the wall. If not, remove
speaker system and correct any wall anchoring problems.
NOTE!
Customer is ultimately responsible for ensuring cabinet is
mounted securely and safely. If in doubt, contact a qualified
contractor. Mounting components and hardware supplied are only
designed for wall structures listed, for any other mounting application,
contact your local hardware store for proper mounting hardware.
8. CONGRATULATIONS! Installation is now complete and speakers are
ready to be connected and ENJOYED!
Power / Audio Connections
Power connection:
Simply plug the
EA500CSA power cord into an approved
outdoor 120vac outdoor socket as
shown. As stated earlier, this socket
must be within approximately five feet of
the installed unit. If a longer cord is
needed, a certified electrician will need to
extend the power cable to required length
in accordance with local codes and
regulations.
Once 120vac power is connected, the 2.1 stereo amplifier and LED
lighting is turned on/off via a small toggle switch located at the top inside
of the Accessory Bay Drawer.
Audio/Source Music Accessory
connections:
Your new EA500CSA
system supports universal hardware
connectivity via a standard 3.5mm
audio jack and 5vdc USB connector
[cables
not
included].
These
standard connections allow a wide
array of source music devices to be
connected, such as phones, tablets,
MP3 players, and streaming audio
receivers.
These source music
devices can be connected and
hidden out-of-sight while in use by
placing device in the Accessory Bay
and closing the drawer.
Like the amplified power toggle switch, the Aux In and
USB connector are located at the top inside of the
Accessory Bay Drawer.
NOTE!
All Audio/3.5mm Aux
In cables should be connected before amplifier power
is switched to the on position. Audio volume is
controlled by your source music device.
