Because there are large differences between PC’s, we can give you only a general installation
guide for the EX-3460. Please refer your computer’s reference manual whenever in doubt.
1. Connect the eSATA cable to the eSATA Connector of the Ex-3460.
2. Plug the included power supply into the 5V Connector of the EX-3460.
3. Now connect the other end from the eSATA cable into the eSATA Connector at
your PC.
4. The EX-3460 support only controllers with Multiplayer function
5. Please note that only one EX-3460 can be connected to each host controller (see
picture Below)

Die EX-3460 ist ein eSATA 2 HUB für bis zu 5 Endgeräte. Er ist mit 5 Ports für Endgeräte und 1
Port für den Anschluss an den PC ausgestattet. Die EX-3460 unterstützt Controller mit Mul-
tiplayer Funktion. Die externe Stromversorgung wird per beiliegendem Netzteil zur Verfügung
gestellt. Der serielle SATA Bus unterstützt optimal die Leistung des schnellen SATA 2 Chipset.
Die EX-3460 gewährleistet so eine sichere Datenübertragung und exzellente Performance von
bis zu 300Mb/s pro Sekunde! Es ist nicht möglich die I/O Adressen und Interrupts manuell
einzustellen, da die Einstellungen vom System (BIOS) und beim installieren des Betriebssys-
tems automatisch vorgenommen werden.

After the hardware installation Windows will recognize the EX-3460 automatically. A
driver is not necessary because the EX-3460 will be connected to a host controller. If
there are any Problems with the installation please check the driver from your host
controller or update the BIOS.
CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER:
Because this device doesn't use any driver it is not necessary to check the installation.

For cleaning please use only a dry fluff less cloth and remove the dirt with gently pres-
sure. In the area of the connectors please make sure that no fibres from the cloth re-
main in the connectors. Attention! Never use a moist or wet cloth for cleaning!
