Setting Up the Emission Wavelength or Frequency

T100S-HP User Guide

Procedure

1.

Press the 

2nd

+

STEP

 keys to activate the scan mode.

2.

Press 

Enter

 to validate.

The 

DATA

 area display prompts you to enter the lower wavelength scan limit while 

the current setting is displayed. 

3.

Enter the lower wavelength scan limit and press 

Enter

 (for valid scan limits, see 

section 

Technical Specifications, p. 12

).

The 

DATA

 area display prompts you to enter the upper wavelength scan limit while 

the current setting is displayed.

4.

Enter the upper wavelength scan limit and press 

Enter

 (for valid scan limits, see 

section 

Technical Specifications, p. 12

).

The 

DATA

 area display prompts you to enter the scan STEP while the current setting 

is displayed.

5.

Enter the scan STEP and press 

Enter

.

To know the valid range for scan STEP values, see section 

Valid Ranges for

The 

DATA

 area display prompts you to enter the Pause Timer between two scan 

steps while the current setting is displayed.

6.

Enter the Pause Timer and press 

Enter

. Possible values for Pause Timer range from 

0.1 to 25 seconds.
Scanning begins. The wavelength scanning process repeats continuously until you 
press the 

STEP

 key to suspend or stop the scan. 

7.

To suspend the current wavelength scan, press the 

STEP

 key.

The

 area display prompts you to 

stop scan 1/0?

.

8.

To stop the scan, press the numeric keys

Enter

.

Scanning stops and the emission wavelength remains set to the value applied at the 
time the scan was suspended.

9.

To resume scanning, press numeric keys
