SIM Chip Installation
Note:
SIM chips are only used in HSPA equipped terminals. The SIM chip slot is located with the
terminal face down under the battery compartment. Unscrew the screw located on the top of the battery
cover. The battery cover can be removed by placing your finger on the raised portion of the door and
sliding down to remove.
1. Remove the battery by placing a finger on the opening and pulling up. The battery will loosen and fall
out once the terminal is turned over.
2. There is only one working compartment be sure to use the one located on the bottom left side.
3. The SIM chip can be easily placed into the slot by inserting the card into the grooves of the holder.
The metallic contact on the SIM card must be placed face down (toward the contacts on the unit).
