1.9.8  Optional display backlight

The BA364ND can be supplied with LED
backlighting to improve display contrast when the
instrument is installed in a poorly illuminated
area.  The backlight is segregated from the
measuring circuit and has been certified as a
separate Ex nL circuit

.

The Type nL input parameters are:

Ui

30V dc

Ii

=

100mA dc

This allows the backlight to be powered from any
safe area 18 to 30V dc supply providing that in
normal operation the maximum supply voltage is
not greater than 30V dc.  See Fig 1.8
