INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
1. Please read these instructions carefully before using the
appliance and keep them for future use.
2. Check that the voltage of your local electricity network
complies with the one which appears on the appliance.
3. Before using the appliance for the first time, remove the
appliance’s protective films or stickers.
Appliance On/Off (A)
When the fan is plugged in, it will remain in standby mode.
Press the button to switch the appliance on.
When using the appliance for the first time, ventilation will be
set to Low speed and Normal ventilation mode by default.
Use the control panel or the remote control to alter operation
of the fan.
Press the button again to switch the fan onto standby
mode.
Speed control (D)
This button is used to select ventilation speed – Low ,
Medium , Fast .
An indicator light will display the speed selected. When the
appliance is switched on, the speed will be set to Low by
default. Press the once for medium speed and press it
again for fast speed . If you press it again, the appliance
will switch back to low speed .
Fan mode control (B)
The button is used in order to select one of the various pre-
set ventilation modes – Normal, Natural , Night . When
the appliance is switched on, the mode will be set to Normal
by default and no indicator light will be switched on.
Press the button once to activate Natural mode and
press it again to activate Night mode .
Normal Mode: The selected ventilation speed will remain
constant (Low, Medium or Fast). When this mode is
activated, no indicator light will be switched on.
Natural Mode: The . indicator light will be switched on when
Natural mode is activated.
When this mode is activated, ventilation speed will vary in
order to imitate the natural variations of the wind.
Select Low speed for Natural ventilation mode with a gentle
breeze.
Select Medium speed for Natural ventilation mode with a
medium breeze.
Select Fast speed for Natural ventilation mode with a strong
breeze.
Night Mode: The indicator light will switch on when Night
mode is activated.
Depending on the ventilation speed selected when Night
Mode is activated, the appliance will automatically reduce
ventilation speed at 30-minute intervals.
• Activation of Night Mode on Fast Speed: Fast Speed
with Natural ventilation mode: 30 mins à Medium Speed
with Natural ventilation mode: 30 mins à Continuous
Low Speed with Natural ventilation mode
• Activation of Night Mode on Medium Speed: Medium
Speed with Natural ventilation mode: 30 mins à
Continuous Low Speed with Natural ventilation mode
• Activation of Night Mode on Low Speed: Continuous low
speed with Natural ventilation mode
Timer control (C)
The 8-hour timer function allows you to programme the
appliance to switch off after 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours.
In order to do this, simply press the timer control button to
select the length of time you want the appliance to operate
for, using the relevant indicator light to guide you.
For constant ventilation, make sure that the timer indicator
light is switched off.
