13. Place the pump in your pond and connect the cable to the electricity supply.
14. Connect the UV cable to the electricity supply.
PLEASE NOTE: We advise that you consult a qualified
electrician before connecting to any electrical connection.
DO NOT
SWITCH PUMP OR UV ON YET
STARTING UP YOUR FILTER
15. Close the waste valve and open the inlet valve.
16. Now switch on the pump - the filter will start to fill.
17. After a few minutes the water will overflow from the large chamber into the Pure Pond Basket
and will return into your pond.
18. At this stage, ensure there are no leaks anywhere in the filter.
19. Now switch on the UV-C. The inspection cover should glow which indicates the UV-C is working.
YOUR FILTER IS NOW WORKING
10. Fit the tray over the top of the Pure
Pond basket with the cut out corners
facing away from main chambers.
11. Fit the securing pipes onto the
inside of the filter unit’s lid, so that
they are over the K1 Media Cartridge.
Now close the lid.
12. Screw the hosetail into the top
of the pump, and connect the hose
between here and the inlet on
the filter.
