8.2 HDD Expansion 

Preparatory work 

Disconnect the PC from the power supply. 

Caution

 

The HDD can only be replaced by authorized personnel. 

Removing the HDD 

Steps to remove HDD 

 

With ECS-1837/1838 

With ECS-1840/1841 

Push the HDD button to the right,until the 

HDD handle pop out.Use hand to pull the 

HDD handle,to pull out the whole HDD 

bracket. 

Remove the four screws shown in the 

picture, to separate the display and 

chassis.

To loosen the four screws fixing the 

HDD,and take out the HDD
