dissipate the static charge while handling components;

Handle components and boards with care. Don’t touch the 

components or contacts on a board. Hold a board by its edges or 

by its metal mounting bracket;

Place the components on a grounded, static-free surface. Use a 

conductive foam pad if available but not the component

Do not let the components slide on the operating platform.

Use cross head screwdriver to operate. A magnetic screwdriver is
