1. Product Introduction
1.1 Overview
EPE-1815 is a PICMG 1.3 bus standard full-size CPU card developed based on Intel®
H61/B65/Q67 platform. This bus standard features more reliable motherboard and
backplane connection than previous PICMG1.3 motherboards.
EPE-1815 supports Intel® mainstream 2

generations I3/5/7 processors; two
1066M/1333M/1600M DDR3 memory modules, up to 16G; onboard two 1000Mbps
network ports, the two 1000Mbps network ports of EPE-1815V2NA-B65L/H61L/
Q67L support WINDOWS SERVER 2008/2012 operating system,
EPE-1815VNA-H61(B65/Q67) and EPE-1815VNAU-H61(B65/Q67) support only
one network port. EPE-1815 also supports one VGA+one DVI port; H61 series
motherboards support four SATA2.0 interfaces; B65 series motherboards support one
SATA3.0 and five SATA2.0; Q67 series motherboards support two SATA3.0
interfaces and four SATA2.0, two of which are brought out via backplane. Q67 series
motherboards support RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 and AMT7.0(EPE-1815V2NA-Q67L don not
support AMT function); H61/B65 series motherboards support 10 USB 2.0 ports; Q67
series motherboards support 14 USB2.0 ports, four of which are brought out via
backplane. In addition, two optional USB3.0 ports, the USB3.0 port no boot function
(EPE-1815VNAU-H61(B65/Q67) supports USB3.0),two COM ports (one supports
RS-232/RS-422/RS-485), one parallel port, reserved LPC onboard and expansion
ports are added for the three platforms (EPE-1815VNAU-H61(B65/Q67) supports
USB3.0).
