5. DATA Main/Redundant – The encoder has two Ethernet ports on the back labelled “Data Main”
and “Data Redundant”. These ports are used for streaming out the encoded ASI over IP. One is
the main data port and the other port can be configured as a redundant data port (which is an
exact copy of the main data). Output IP stream from encoders 1 & 2 are present on both the
Ethernet ports.
6. HD/SD-SDI Input 1 & 2 – These BNC connectors are used to feed a baseband signal to
Encoder 1 & 2 respectively.
7. Control – The third Ethernet port on the rear panel of the encoder is labelled “Control”. This is
used to control the encoder via Web-Interface.
8. Power Supply Sockets – There are two power supply sockets on the rear side of the encoder.
These are used for connecting both the power supplies of the encoder to mains AC supply.
