5.1. ENABLING/ DISABLING THE ALARMS
The user can enable or disable which traps to be notified when triggered by following the below steps:
On VistaLINK, navigate to the Notify section.
User will see a check mark box in front of each trap as shown in Figure
5-3.

PRO – View Alarm
If this box is checked, this means the user will be notified whenever the respective trap is triggered.
If this box is not checked, this means the user will not be notified even if the respective trap is triggered.
User can see the Alarms for all the notified traps in a separate Alarm window. To open the Alarms
window, right click on the demodulator in the Hardware tree and click on View Alarm option as shown in
Figure
5-3.
Alarm window will be opened as is shown in Figure 5-4. It will display a list of all the traps with the
description of each trap, date and time the trap triggered, device that triggered the alarm, date and time
of correction and the duration of the trap.
