Installation of the gate valve
1. Install the 3 recommended gate valves as
shown in drawing 1
2. Gate valve 1 and 2 are used to shut off in
case of demounting of the filter unit. Valve 1
and 2 are closed, valve 3 is open. Thus
unfiltered water can go directly to the main
water tap. When the filter unit is in operation
valve 3 is shut and valve 1 and 2 are open.
Commissioning of the system
1. Open the water supply and/or start the water
pump.Gate valves should be in positions as
shown in drawing 1.
2. Open the tap and let the water flow (approx.
5 litres). Cartridges with ultra filtration
membranes are stored in glycerin (food
grade quality) which has to be washed off.
Cartridges with activated carbon might
contain harmless soot particles giving a slight
dark colour to the water.
3. Check the pipe system as to leak tightness.
