Troubleshooting Guide
PROBLEM CAUSE AND SOLUTION
ACCESSORY PROBLEMS
The optional generator will not start. • House batteries are not charged. Charge or replace battery.
• The generator fuel supply valve is off. Turn on fuel supply
valve.
• The fuel level is too low in the fuel tank. Fill the fuel tank.
The generator runs for a short time and shuts down.
• There is a problem with the generator and the emergency
shut down system has activated to shut down the generator.
Find and correct the problem, then restart the generator.
• The fuel level is too low in the fuel tank that supplies the
generator. Fill the fuel tank.
• The generator is overloaded. Manage AC accessory use to
reduce excess amperage draw.
