4.10 Warning a nd error messages
The keyboard will advise the operator of a requested operation failure by messages on the display. These
messages can be set up in four different ways:
•
disabled messages: messages are not shown
•
automatic message without warning beep: the message will be shown for about 3 seconds and will then
disappear automatically without the acoustic signal; it can be removed in advance by pressing


automatic message with warning beep: the message will be shown for about 3 seconds and is accompanied
by a beep; it will disappear automatically and can be removed by pressing


•
message with confirmation: the message is accompanied by a warning beep and only disappears when the
operator presses


4.11 Macro Pro tocol: special functions
4.11.1 Description
Macro Protocol on Video line can be set up to be used in particular systems. After choosing Macro protocol, with
cursor on the Protocol press

to enter the Macro submenu.
When one or more special functions are active the display reads

4.11.2 Special fun ctions featured by Macro protocol
4.11.2.1 Polling
Default: YES.
Communication between keyboard and matrix is based on polling techniques.
If the keyboard is connected to a personal computer or another OEM device the polling can be suspended to
ease the implementation of a Macro protocol and avoid the need to respect very strict timing requests.
4.11.2.2 Sanyo Mux
Default: NO.
Set to YES if the multiplexer Sanyo is connected to a matrix Aux line. When enabled a set of special screens
are available on the keyboard.
If the multiplexer is directly connected to the keyboard set to NO.
4.11.2.3 9999 Camera s
Default: NO.
Set to YES if the system is composed by a group of matrixes (instead of a single one) and allows to control up
to 9999 cameras.
