2.0  Control Keypad Functions

Turn On the Keypad console press 

ON

OFF

. The LCD screen should become active.

2.1  Initializing the System at every Start-up.

 

To do this, locate the Code label on the Keypad console (located upper right corner in Figure 2A and bot-
tom middle in Figure 2B); the code 77 is used for illustration. Press

. The LCD should change. Note: Gray keys are displayed on console only.

2.2  Set Up Brightness and Dimming

Keypad in Figure 2A only:
Press 

SET

UP

 will start the dimming option, the LCD will display Dimming 1 to 4 levels of brightness, with 

4 being the brightest. Press

 (1, 2, 3 or 4) then 

 

ENTER

 then 

CLEAR

.

Press 

 

ENTER

 to go through the steps of Set Up (most are not used for Baseball) until LCD reads “Time of 

Day =”. Enter the correct time (example,

DIM

 once will change the brightness/dimming one step through 4 levels of brightness.

2.3  Scores

The Home and Guest Scores can be changed in two ways.
1. Press 

+1

 under either Home or Guest Scores to increase the score by 1 number.

2. To enter or change a score using the numeric keypad under Home or Guest press

 

SCORE

 then enter the score ( 

 2

  will change the score to 2) then press 

 

ENTER

To Clear a score, under Home or Guest press 

SCORE

 then 

CLEAR

 . 

2.4  Innings

 

Press 

INNING

 then,using the numeric keypad, press the inning number and press 

 

ENTER

To Clear Inning display press 

INNING

 then 

CLEAR

 .

2.5  Balls, Strikes and Outs 

Change this display by pressing 

 

BALL

 or 

 

STRIKE

 or 

 

OUT

. Each time a button is pressed the display 

will increase one; 1 to 2, 2 to 3 and so on.

2.6  Hit, Error and At Bat 

Push  

HIT

 or 

ERROR

 to increment the appropriate indicator. Press 

AT

BAT

 to toggle between the team 

at bat (displayed only on the console).
