SPEAKER OUTPUT
The internal speakers and external speaker jack of the VR204HF receive a mono-mix of the input
channels being monitored or tape channels being played. The overall volume is adjusted via
Controls/Volume/Speaker menu.
HEADPHONE OUTPUT
The VR204HF provides a stereo output mix to the headphone and line out jacks. For
monitoring, the left channel is a mix of channels 1 and 3, while the right channel is a mix of
channels 2 and 4. The channels to be monitored are selected via the Controls/Monitor menu.
The mix levels are fixed, only the overall output volume is adjustable via the Controls/Volume
menu.
When playing back from the VR204HF or VR204HF-PB, the left channel receives the audio
when a single channel is selected. When two channels are selected, the left channel receives the
"A" channel audio and the right channel receives the "B" channel audio. Refer to
Controls/Channel/Single or Control/Channel/Multiple menus.
When playing standard non-hi-fi tapes, the line out mix is fixed but each of the playing channels,
up to four, are positioned differently in the stereo image. "A" and "B" more to the left and "C'
and "D" more to the right.
LINE OUT CONNECTIONS
