6. EMOTE
6.1. Introduc ti on and Setup
Emote is a stand-alone program for:
macOS computers running 10.11 or higher (M1 macs are supported).
PCs running Windows 10.
VST3, VST, AU, and AAX plugin formats.
Emote gives you control of all of the features and se tti ngs of your H9000 e ff ects processor, allowing you
to cra ft your e ff ects quickly and intui ti vely. Think of Emote as your ar ti s ti c partner, le tti ng you dig deeper
into the crea ti ve poten ti al of the H9000.
6.1.1. Downloading the Installer
The produc ti on release of Emote is available here: h tt ps://e ti de.io/emote . Once the installer is
downloaded, double click the installer icon and follow the on-screen instruc ti ons. The installer allows you
to choose which formats of Emote to install, as well as the install paths.
On macOS, since Emote is manually downloaded from our website (as opposed to the macOS app
store), you will be prompted to approve the installa
ti on of the program during the install process.
On Windows, Emote is digitally signed by Microso ft , so you shouldn’t see any extra security prompts
while installing.
6.1.2. Ini ti al Connec ti on
Emote can ini ti ally connect to your H9000 in three ways:
Ethernet, directly to your computer.
Ethernet, through your local area network.
Wi-Fi, by using Access Point Mode.
