Problem Cause Solution
Power on but
no display a). Loose connections
b). Cables not in correct
polarity (+ and – position). a). Ensure cables are making
good contact.
b). Re-wire loop cables with
correct polarity.
Unstable
conductivity
readings a). Air bubbles in probe.
b). Dirty probe.
c). Probe not deep enough in
sample. a). Tap probe to remove
bubbles.
b). Clean probe and recalibrate.
c). Ensure that sample entirely
covers the probe sensors.
Oscillating
temperature
readings a). Electrical noise
interference
a) Ensure shield wire is properly
connected to pin 7
Slow response a). Dirty / Oily probe. a). Clean probe.
Blinking ATC
a) No temperature sensor
connection during ATC mode a) Ensure temperature sensing
cable are making good contact
Blinking
electrode
indicator a) Error in calibration a) Ensure calibration standard
solution is not contaminated.
Ensure clean probe is used.

measurement value is above
