Operation
₋
The battery has to be charged in direct sunlight for a whole day prior to first operation.
₋
Connect the parts together as shown
in the diagram.
₋
The solar panel on top of the device
charges the integrated rechargeable
battery.
₋
Turn on the unit by placing the ON /
OFF switch in the ON position as
shown in picture 4.
₋
Gently push the stake into the
ground. Place the solar panel properly
so that it fully captures the sunlight
and recharges optimally.
₋
Due to the integrated light sensor, the
device automatically turns on at dusk
und automatically turns off again at
dawn. To check the battery, please
cover the upper part of the device,
then it should turn on. Please note
that the battery has to be charged
first.
Warning :
- Please ensure that the solar panel is placed in direct sunlight. We
recommend southward orientation of the device.
-
Make sure the solar panel is not placed in the shadow during the
day:
this will prevent the charging process.
- Avoid areas close to an active light source at night such as
streetlights that may prevent the solar collector from working
properly.
Battery performance is lower at very cold outdoor temperatures. This could affect the luminous efficiency and
performance of the product.
SOLAR FUNCTION
-
By converting sunlight into electricity, the solar panels charge the built-in battery during the day and automatically turn
on the lantern at dusk. The number of hours of illumination depends on the duration and intensity of the sunlight during
the day.
₋ Leave the device running continuously for better results
₋ Keep the solar panel clean.
