Frequently Asked Questions
The following are some of the most commonly asked questions about development kits:
Q: When I plug in power, my screen is white, and nothing comes up on it.
A: Check the connector seating. The flat panel connector may have come loose in
shipping. Press it firmly into the panel, and reapply power to your GCM.
Q: When I plug in power, the LEDs do not turn on.
A: Your GCM may still be booting. The LEDs are software-controlled and are not
necessarily turned on at boot.
Q: Do I have to turn off the GCM before I insert a CompactFlash card?
A: No. The GCM supports hot swapping of CompactFlash cards. Consult the operating
system documentation for details.
