WARNING!
Do NOT use the fan in the following areas or circumstances:
- near an open flame, a hot burner, oven or other source of high heat
- outdoors or in areas of high humidity without suitable ventilation (such as
in a bathroom, laundry area) or near a sink, washer, pool or any source
of water
- in a window or near curtains
- in areas where paint, petrol, etc. is stored and there is a risk of explosion
or fire from flammable gases, or in areas where substances are being
sprayed
- in areas with airborne oil or metal particles, such as where metal is being
processed.
• Free airflow:
Ensure nothing is blocking the airflow outlet and air intake
grilles. Do not insert foreign objects
into any opening as this may cause
electric shock and/or a fire hazard.

Cleaning:
Disconnect the cord before cleaning the fan, then follow the
cleaning instructions on page 10.

Service:
Only have the fan repaired or serviced by authorised personnel.
• Misuse:
We accept no liability for any damages or personal injury caused by
misuse of the product and/or failure to follow these instructions.

Battery precautions
The remote control is powered by AAA batteries (not supplied). When
handling batteries, always observe appropriate safety advice.

WARNING:
Ensure that any device containing batteries is kept out of
children’s reach. If batteries are swallowed, seek immediate medical
assistance. (If battery acid has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and
mucous membranes to prevent injury. In the event of contact with the acid,
rinse the affected areas immediately with plenty of clean water and contact
a doctor at once.)

WARNING:
To prevent a risk of explosion, normal batteries must not be
charged, heated or disposed of by burning. Never throw batteries into a fire
or subject them to high temperatures.

CAUTION:
Insert the batteries correctly according to the polarity markings.
Only use fresh batteries of the required size and type. Do not open the
batteries or short-circuit them. Do not mix old and new, or different types of
batteries.

CAUTION:
Dispose of batteries promptly and properly, observing any local
hazardous waste regulations. Do not dispose of them in household waste.
