cleaning products are suitable). The plastic
housing can also be cleaned in this manner.
Make sure that the device is completely dry
before switching it on again!
Empty the removable receptacle on the
underside regularly. The easiest way is to
hold the apparatus in one hand and turn the
receptacle a little with the other hand till it is to
remove. Then you can easily pull the
receptacle out and dispose of the dead
insects. To replace the receptacle, just follow
the above instructions in reverse order.
Always check before inserting the plug into
the wall socket that everything is clean and
dry and that all components are correctly positioned.
Make sure that all part are dry and well-installed again before you plug in again.
5 - A summary of the safety instructions
Before doing anything to the device (moving, cleaning, etc.) always make sure
that it is unplugged. Also be careful as regards the electrical supply! The mains to
which you connect the device must have an earth-leakage switch. The device must
be connected to a 220-240V wall socket.
Never hang the device from or lift it by its lead. Never use the lead to pull the
plug from the wall socket. Make sure that the lead is not subjected or exposed to
heat, oil, aggressive chemicals, sharp objects (edges, etc.), or that it gets pinched
or otherwise damaged. If you nevertheless notice any defect or damage to the lead,
replace it immediately. If necessary, the device can also be used with an approved
extension lead.
The device, the wall socket and the plug must always be kept free of moisture
and all must be positioned well above the floor.
Never immerse the device in water.
Do not touch the live grid never: either with a finger or with metal pin or any
other object!
Keep the device out of the reach of children and domestic animals.
The wires of the high-voltage grid must not touch. If they become bent, bend
them straight again (after unplugging the device!).
Never make any modifications to the device a
nd don’t repair the equipment by
yourself. Modifications or repairs by not-qualificated people do expire the guarantee
and the responsibility of dealer, importer and manufacturer
Not suited for use:
Outdoors
on humid places as bathrooms, washing places, swimming pools etc.
• in stables or sheds
on dusty places
on places with easy-inflammable materials in the neighbourhood
Close supervision is necessary when the product is used near children or
incapacitated persons. The device is not suitable for use by persons (including
children) with a physical, sensual or mental limitation or a lack of experience and
knowledge, irrespective of whether they are being supervised or have been issued
with instructions in relation to the use of the device by a person who is responsible
for their safety. Always ensure that children cannot play with the device.
