HOSE INSTALLATION / MONTERING AV SLANG
IMPORTANT: The hose reel has to be wall mounted at a minimum height from the floor of
2.50 m in order to prevent accidents during work operations. Always put a ball valve at
the end of the feeding line in order to make maintenance possible. That ball valve can be
used as a safety valve in dangerous situations. It is possible to mount the reel on a floor or
on other machines as accessory but only with the fixed bracket. The revolving bracket is
not suitable. Always mount a separate closing valve between the piping and the hose reel
inlet hose.
The hose-guide arm can be fixed in three different positions
according to the hose reel installation (see pictures A-B-C
at page 2).
Mount the hose reel on stiff and consistent walls, using 4
screws M10 (or 3/8”-UNC). If the revolving bracket 28902,
(optional) shall be used you need two extra screws of M10
(or 3/8”-UNC).
Always connect the hose reel by the enclosed inlet hose (A).
Use a 27 mm wrench (B) and do not over tight it. Put the inlet
hose through the enclosed ”key ring” for prevent the inlet
hose from turn or twist if the swivel run stiffly.
WARNING! It is not allowed to use the hose reel for any other
kind of fluid then mentioned in the Technical Specification.
The manufacturer declines any responsibility for injuries to
people or damages to things caused by awrong assembly or
wrong handling or bad use of the hose reel.
Viktigt: Slangupprullare som monteras på en vägg skall monteras minst 2,5 m över golvet.
Detta för att förhindra oavsiktliga skador på människor och fordon. Det är möjligt att
montera rullen på golv eller som tillbehör på maskiner men bara med fast installation. Det
vridbara fästet är inte lämpligt. Montera alltid en kulventil mellan anslutningsslangen och
matningsröret för att möjliggöra underhåll på rullen. Den ventilen kan också användas som
avstängning om läckage eller liknande skulle inträffa.

Montera slangupprullaren på en stadig och hållbar vägg genom
att använda 4 st M10 skruvar. Om det svängbara fästet 28902
(tillbehör) används behövs det ytterliggare 2 st M10 skruv.
Drag fast den medföljande inloppsslangens (A) överfallsmutter
med hjälp av en 27 mm fast nyckel (B). Drag med måttlig kraft då
tätningen sker i den invändiga konan.
Varning! Det är inte tillåtet att använda slangupprullaren för andra
vätskor än dom som finns angivna under ”Teknisk Specifikation”.
Tillverkaren avsäger sig hela ansvaret för inträffade olycksfall
eller skador som uppkommer på grund av felaktigt montage,
felaktigt användande, felaktig slang eller felaktigt monterad
slang.
The automatic device to stop the hose is working on an area corresponding to 1/3 turn of
the drum. For releasing the hose, put a light traction on it. It is important always to keep
the hose back when you rewind it, in order to avoid damages to the machine, injuries to
people or to surrounding things.It is absolute forbidden to let the hose roll in freely. Always
guide the hose through the guide roller. It can cause damage to people or objects close
to the reel. And the spring will be damaged and can get broken. Check periodically the
correct operation of the hose reel, and control that the couplers are well locked and there
are no leakage.
IMPORTANT: Any maintenance operation shall be carried out by a suitably
trained staff, following carefully the information given in this manual. Ensure
that there is no tension in the spring before starting any operations inside the
hose reel.
Always close the feeding of fluid to the hose reel before carrying out any maintenance on
it. Replace the flexible hose as soon as it shows any sign of wear and tear or of deteriora-
tion due to the different conditions of the labour environment. Replace the seal inside
the revolving joint in case of losses due to wear and tear. Any replacement of hose reel
parts has to be done using original spare parts. See the spare parts list. We advise you to
contact the supplier for any possible anomaly and before replacing any part.
Det automatiska stoppet har ett arbetsområde på ca 1/3 varv där det går att stoppa
slangen. För att frigöra slangen så att den kan rullas in, drar man ut den en liten bit och
sedan styr man in slangen genom styrrullarna och upp på rullen. Man får absolut inte
släppa slangen så att den rullar fritt in. Den kan orsaka skador på personer eller föremål i
närheten. Dessutom kan fjädern skadas så att den senare går av. Kontrollera regelbundet
att rullen fungerar som den ska och att spärren låser i alla lägen. Kontrollera också att
inget läckage finns i anslutningarna.
OBS! Inget underhåll eller arbete får startas utan att fjäderns spänning först har
lösgjorts. Allt underhållsarbete skall utföras av personer med utbildning och
kännedom om rullens konstruktion och vad som är angivet i denna bruksanvis-
ning.
Stäng alltid ventilen där inloppsslangen är ansluten innan något arbete startas. Ersätt
slangar när dom visar synliga tecken på slitage eller andra skador. Kontrollera regelbundet
att inget synligt läckage finns från anslutningar eller svivel. Om läckage uppstår på grund
av slitage eller dylikt skall den skadade delen omgående bytas ut eller lagas. Använd alltid
originaldelar vid alla reparationer. De vanligaste slitdetaljerna finns normalt lagerförda av
oss. Se Reservdelslistan. Vi rekommenderar att kontakt tas med leverantören om något
onormalt inträffar och innan några delar byts ut.
Mounting the hose on model delivered without hose.
The hose reels without hose are supplied with the
spring unloaded. Use a hose with dimension and
pressure characteristics suitable for use according to
the hose reel model and for the used fluid.
• Fix the hose reel to the bench.
• Put the hose between the guide rollers and then
through the hole in the drum.
• Connect the swaged nut to the fitting on the
drum axis and tighten with decent torque and
with a suitable wrench.Normally will the coupling
nut and adapter seal correct in the internal cone
without any extra sealings. Only floating sealant is
acceptable. Never use flax or Teflon tape.
• Rotate manually the drum in order to rewind
completely the hose.
• Hold the hose-end and rotate the drum 1 turn
in the opposite direction to pre-load the spring.
Insert again the hose-end between the guide
rollers.
• Put the hose rubber stopper at the desired length.
Unwind the hose and rewind it completely, to
check if the hose reel works properly and that the
latch will be able to release at the inner position.
WARNING! DO NOT PUT HANDS OR ANY OTHER
THING INSIDE THE DRUM!
Montering av slang på rulle som levererats utan slang.
Slangupprullaren levereras med fjädern ospänd. An-
vänd en slang med dimension och tryck-karaktäristik
som passar till den valda rullen och till det använda
mediet.
• Spänn fast rullen på en arbetsbänk
• Sätt slangen mellan styrrullarna.
• Trä slangen på rullen mellan styrrullarna och sedan
igenom hålet i trumman så att slangens koppling
kan anslutas mot nippeln vid rullens axel. Dra fast
ordentligt utan att använda för stor kraft. Använd
en fast nyckel. Normalt tätar överfallsmuttern bra
mot den invändiga konan i anslutningsnippeln
utan extra tätningsmedel. Om det bedöms som
nödvändigt får endast flytande tätningsmedel
användas. Använd aldrig lin, teflontape eller
liknande.
• Snurra trumman manuellt för att rulla på slangen.
När slangen är fullt upprullad fortsätter man med
ytterliggare ett eller två varv för att spänna fjädern.
• Därefter förs slangen på nytt tillbaka genom
slangstyrningen och slangstoppet monteras. Dra
ut slangen för att kontrollera spänningen och att
det går att både få stopp på rullen och att det går
att frigöra spärren i sitt innersta läge.
