STAND-ALONE MODE
In Stand-Alone Mode, the LED UV Bars can be used without a controller. Disconnect the device from the
controller.
Dimming
Press the MODE button until the LED display shows a
C
.
You can select the desired brightness level via the UP or DOWN buttons (from C-0 to C-9, increasing
brightness / default setting C-9).
Sound control / Sensitivity
Press the MODE button until the LED display shows an
S
.
You can select the desired sensitivity level via the UP or DOWN buttons (from S-0 to S-9, increasing
sensitivity / default setting S-5).
Master / Slave
The master/slave-operation enables that several devices can be synchronized and controlled by one master-
device.
On the rear panel of the LED UV Bars you can find an XLR-jack and an XLR-plug, which can be used for
connecting several devices.
This device then works as master-device and controls the slave-devices, which are to be connected to the
master-device via a stereo shielded cable.
Connect the DMX OUT jack with the DMX IN plug of the next device.
Press the MODE button until the LED display shows
SLA
. The devices set in this manner can now be
controlled by the master unit.
Flash
Press the MODE button until the LED display shows an
F
.
You can select the desired flash speed via the UP or DOWN buttons (from F-0 to F-9, increasing speed /
default setting F-5).
DMX MODE
The LED screen allows you to assign the DMX fixture address, which is defined as the first channel from
which the LED UV Bars will respond to the controller.
Addressing
Press the MODE button until the LED screen shows
001
. You can now set the desired address via the UP or
DOWN buttons.
Controlling:
After having addressed the device, you may now start operating it via your lighting controller.
Note:
It’s necessary to insert the XLR termination plug with 120
in the last lighting in the link in order to ensure
proper transmission on the DMX data link.
DMX-controlled operation
You can control the devices individually via your DMX-controller. Every DMX-channel has a different
occupation with different features.
