SETUP
Create all connections while the device is switched off. Use the shortest possible high-quality DMX cables for all
connections. Install the device on a plane surface.
Connecting the spotlights
The DMX LED EASY Operator 4x4 supports four spotlights ore spotlight groups with the same channel functions.
By setting their start addresses the individual spotlights will be assigned to one or the four spotlight groups. The
order of connection is irrelevant.
Connect the DMX output of the DMX LED EASY Operator 4x4 to the DMX input of the first fixture. Then connect the
DMX output of the first fixture in the DMX chain to the DMX input of the next fixture. Always connect one output to
the input of the next fixture until all fixtures are connected. For long connection cables it is recommended to
terminate the DMX line. Plug a terminating plug with a 120 Ω resistor between signal (–) and signal (+) to the DMX
output of the last unit.
Adjusting the DMX start addresses on the spotlights
Adjust the DMX start addresses on your spotlights according to the table below, i.e. a multiple of 10 + 1. If
identical spotlight groups are to be controlled synchronously, set them to the same start address; otherwise each
fixture must receive an individual address. For further information, please refer to the fixture’s documentation.
